Overview

In today's fast-paced world, apps play a crucial role in helping people save time. It’s essential they work efficiently and provide personalized experiences, allowing users to focus on what truly matters in their lives.

We collaborated with Via Verde on an app usability testing project with the goal of evaluating and improving the user experience by ensuring an intuitive and fluid interface for different types of profiles.

We carried out usability tests with 20 participants, representing five different user profiles, all recruited from Via Verde’s actual customer base.

This approach yielded valuable insights into app’s usability, experience and performance, identifying critical areas for improvement and a set of recommendations.

Project Resume

To address Via Verde’s goal of optimizing their app, we designed five personas that represented a broad spectrum of customer profiles.

These personas helped guide the recruitment process, ensuring a representative sample of real users participated in the usability tests. Each participant engaged in scenario-based tasks that mimicked real-life interactions with the app, such as managing vehicle profiles, activating parking services, and checking the charging status of electric vehicles.

The tests took place in person using a high-fidelity prototype, allowing Innovagency and Via Verde team to observe user interactions in real time. This close collaboration fostered a deeper understanding of how users engaged with the app and where they encountered challenges.

We blended user insights with data-driven analysis, allowing Via Verde to enhance their app based on real feedback, resulting in a more intuitive, efficient and satisfying user experience.
